Our Friends

Whitgift SNAP (Special Needs Activity Project) is a leading special needs charity providing summer schemes for residents of Croydon. It aims to provide summer play schemes for disabled children and young people between the ages of 5 and 25 and offers a wide variety of experiences that may not otherwise be available. It also provides an opportunity for these young people to become integrated into the mainstream of life through friendships with other young people and volunteers. Based at Whitgift School, South Croydon, SNAP is a highly valued Croydon project, which started in 1985, and receives excellent feedback from each Ofsted inspection.

We provide volunteers on a one-to-one basis and ensure that all volunteers are given the relevant training and are well supported and we rely on donations to keep the charity going.
